You know you’re meant to support the sacredness of pregnancy and birth.
You long to do this birth in right relationship with community, your own integrity, and the sovereignty of the families you serve.
You believe in your heart that birthwork can be liberation work.
But how do you do this, when our system is set up to pathologize and abuse those we serve— especially Black, Indigenous & mothers of color?
It is possible, and it all begins with embodying our own sovereignty.
Whether you’ve been a practicing doula for years or are in the beginnings of your journey, Sovereign is a 8 week group coaching program to receive community care, mentorship, and radical birth education to support you in aligning with your purpose and identifying how to do birthwork in your integrity.
Through a weaving of the scientific and the sacred aspects of birth, business magic and personal authority, we will journey together through unpacking our socializations around birth, and reclaiming our right to ancestrally-rooted care.
In Sovereign, you will receive:
8 Weekly 2-hour group mentorship calls
2 60-minute 1:1 coaching sessions
Weekly suggested readings, videos and embodied practices

Hello, Love!
I’m Qiddist Ashé, and I’m a descendant of midwives and medicine women, a clinical herbalist for reproductive health, and a traditional birthkeeper serving families outside the medical system.
I know what it’s like to be a doula in the medical system, witnessing mamas and families being fear-mongered, abused, and pressured into handing over their autonomy at every stage of their birth journey.
I’ve felt the burnout and powerlessness of watching the harm of unnecessary interventions — especially against our mothers of color.
After years of supporting primarily hospital births, I made the necessary shift to support families making autonomous choices in birth outside the system, and I had a lot of fears: Will anyone choose this? What are the risks? Will I be able to sustain myself? Is it safe?
I can honestly say that the biggest shift happened when I got real with my own relationship to autonomy and sovereignty, and the self-work that is so needed to be clear in my support of others.
I know that whatever your desires for your work, you can make the shifts to be in abundance, integrity, and sovereignty when it comes to your practice and your life — and I’m here to support you on the journey.
