Death as a major arcana card is asking us to surrender to its cosmic and oceanic energies of transformation.

The Death card in the African Tarot is vibrant, the sun situated between the two pillars illuminates the ceremony of rebirth taking place. There are two channelers facilitating the ceremony: one who is using a sacred text, and the other who has their hands positioned in such a way that represents an offering of energy healing.

Pulling the death card actually indicates that the process of dying has already happened. Now we are invited to be still enough to receive the offerings of the divine channels casting spells for our rebirth & reincarnation.

When Death shows up in a reading we are being invited to be present for the ways in which the Divine wants to transform that which has died into new life.

I invite you to acknowledge where death has occurred both in & around you, and to surrender to the Divine channels prepared to transformation death into a life giving potion. Are you available for the ceremony of rebirth Divine is offering you? Are you willing to surrender to what has died so that it can be used in new ways? Can identify where you may feel resistance to this transformation?

Remember, all that has died has the power to serve us in new ways; consider it sacred fertilizer that has the power to replenish.
